 Radio Waumini 88.3 FM is a project of the Kenya Episcopal Conference - Catholic Secretariat launched on July 10, 2003. It is a Catholic Radio at the service of the Gospel, an instrument of evangelization and promotion of all initiatives and activities of the Catholic Church. Radio Waumini is for all transmitting both in English and Kiswahili, celebrating the rich diversity of contemporary Kenya, affirming all that is life-giving and striving to promote justice.

Not only do we have State of Art broadcasting studios, but also a fully equiped State of Art Sound Recording studio, with capability to record an audience of 70 member-strong choir at a go.

Our Radio Waumini Communications Training  College, based within Radio Waumini compounds along Thika Road, Nairobi, continues to train professionals in radio production, with unlimited practical access to the Radio station's facility.

Currently, we are expanding. Our transmissions in South eastern Kenya (Kitui and Environs) are at the testing stage.
